If you want to sell 3D designs and earn a little extra money, one of the platforms to do it is Cults3d.com<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cults3D is one of the platforms where you can upload and download STL files. Free stl files to download and also paid to sell or buy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this post I want to show you a step by step, (from registration to publication) of an STL file designed by me and how to put it up for sale on Cults3D.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The intention is to accompany this publication with images, for those who want to sell 3D designs or sell STL files, they can do so by following the steps below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I assume that those who want to sell stl files will be the designers, the creators of their own designs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First step: Have a 3D design to sell<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Learning to design can seem very difficult for those who are just starting out, but everything is learned. No one is born knowing everything, and although it is easier for some and more difficult for others, with a lot of effort and dedication everything is possible (and a lot of patience too).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At this point the most experienced designers will not have problems, but if you are just starting there are many tools that will help you in the design process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

if you are a beginner like me<\/strong>I want to recommend you tinkercad<\/a> which is a online design tool<\/strong> from Autodesk. It is very easy to use, and it has all kinds of tools and default shapes that will help you with your first designs.<\/p>\n\n\n

Some time ago I gave my 3-year-old son a Lightning McQueen remote-controlled car from the famous Disney movies. Unfortunately while playing it broke a wheel, but since it is such a cute and functional toy I decided to start repairing it with my 3D printer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this I had to take all the measurements of the wheel, heights, widths, depths, diameters. I then proceeded with the design in Tinkercad, which I really had fun doing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second step: Register in Cults<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you are not registered, you will need to go through the registration process and log in to be able to start uploading your files to Cults3D.<\/p>\n\n\n

To start registration click to the right of the search box where it says \u201cAccess\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

Complete your registration data by entering your e-mail and choosing a password. Then enter the platform using that data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Third step: Upload files in Cults3D<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Once inside you will do click the "upload" button<\/strong> which is on the top left.<\/p>\n\n\n

Clicking \u201cupload\u201d will open a page where you can see all the available options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
