on the outer wall of the model.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This option can be found in Cura under the <strong>experimental settings<\/strong> with the name <strong>\u00abfuzzy lining\u00bb<\/strong>, where you can check the box that activates it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Skin or Lining refers to the &quot;skin&quot; of the model, which is the exterior wall and is the visible wall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is it for<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fuzzy Lining Feature <strong>used to create textures on the walls of 3D printed models<\/strong>, this can offer some advantages for those models that need to have &quot;a good grip&quot; or need to have some type of friction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For other models, like the sheep that I am going to print for example, <strong>can give a slightly more realistic finish<\/strong>, and visually prettier than if it didn&#039;t have it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How does it work<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By activating the &quot;Diffuse Lining&quot; option, Cura commands the printer to produce an erratic movement, moving in and out on the external wall of the model. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In other words, the nozzle will print the supports, the filling and all the internal walls well, but when it is time to print the external wall, this erratic movement will occur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shaping will only occur on the outer walls, and not on the bottom or top surfaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This kind of &quot;extra&quot; After marking it, the other settings mentioned will appear.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>fuzzy lining<\/strong> Outside only: The function only applies to the outside contours and not inside the holes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>diffuse lining thickness<\/strong>: It is the width within which the movements fluctuate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Diffuse Lining Density<\/strong>: Controls the average density of the points where fluctuations occur. A low density will produce a reduction in resolution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Diffuse Lining Point Distance<\/strong>: is the average distance between the random points. This value must be greater than half the thickness of the diffuse lining.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before changing any parameters I would recommend that you do a small test print, with the default settings by cura. So you can see how it works and you can draw conclusions about what you need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"section-g9bd3f1\" class=\"wp-block-gutentor-e6 section-g9bd3f1 gutentor-element gutentor-element-image text-align-center-desktop\"><div class=\"gutentor-element-image-box\"><div class=\"gutentor-image-thumb\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"normal-image\" src=\"https:\/\/impresion3d.website\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Cura-Como-activar-la-Funcion-fuzzy-skin-forro-difuso-Cubo.webp\" \/><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, something that you must take into account is the number of walls that your model will need, based on the thickness that you choose, since <strong>the thickness of the walls must be greater than the thickness of the diffuse lining<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My first test was a 20 x 20mm cube with the default settings and these were the results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fuzzy Liner Thickness: 0.3<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fuzzy Liner Density: 1.25<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fuzzy Liner Stitch Distance: 0.8<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"445\" src=\"https:\/\/impresion3d.website\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Cura-Como-activar-la-Funcion-fuzzy-skin-forro-difuso-Cubo-impreso.webp\" alt=\"cube-with-diffuse-lining-in-cure\" class=\"wp-image-2911\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This was done with a quantity of 3 walls, since the outer wall does not print normal, but rather erratically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If what you want is for the &quot;texture&quot;
