Contains a segmented or laminated button depending on the current stage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Save button<\/strong>. Save to removable media or to a file.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>preview button<\/strong>to. It is used to visualize the layer cuts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>camera position<\/strong>. Positions the camera at a predetermined angle.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>model information<\/strong>. Displays the name of the 3D model and its dimensions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>adjustment tools<\/strong>. It will have no other effect on prices or application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Issue<\/strong>: Ultimaker offers color blind themes and a dark theme for ease of use.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>auto cut<\/strong>: This setting can be enabled to automatically layer the 3D model at load time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Interface behavior<\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"718\" height=\"284\" src=\"https:\/\/impresion3d.website\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Menu-de-preferencias-Comportamiento-de-interfaz-Cura-ultimaker-impresion3d.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-352\" srcset=\"https:\/\/impresion3d.website\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Menu-de-preferencias-Comportamiento-de-interfaz-Cura-ultimaker-impresion3d.jpg 718w, https:\/\/impresion3d.website\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Menu-de-preferencias-Comportamiento-de-interfaz-Cura-ultimaker-impresion3d-600x237.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 718px) 100vw, 718px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>show overhangs<\/strong>: Displays the bottom parts of 3D models in <strong>Red color<\/strong> to indicate that the model needs support material.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>show model errors<\/strong>: sample <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">mistakes<\/span> in the 3D model using different colors for better recognition.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Center camera when item is selected<\/strong>: Focuses the camera on the 3D model and leaves it centered automatically.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reverse Camera Zoom Direction<\/strong>: By turning the mouse wheel, instead of zooming in we will zoom out.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Make sure the models are separated<\/strong>: This allows the models to not overlap each other, keeping a safe distance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"background-color:#fff5d1\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Note<\/span>: Placing the models close together can allow them to overlap. Ultimaker Cura does not warn when this happens.<\/strong> (unless we make sure <strong>tick<\/strong> that option)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Automatically drag models onto the build plate<\/strong>: You can turn this option off to allow 3D models to float, which can be useful for creating custom supports, or manually aligning 3D models.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Warning message on G-code reader<\/strong>: In the event of an error, the program will launch a warning message.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Force layer view compatibility mode<\/strong>: This allows older graphics cards to see a variant of 2D layers. You do not need to activate this option if your layer view works correctly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Restore window position to start<\/strong>\u2013 Uncheck this option to load Cura Ultimaker at the same standard position and resolution every time you launch it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"background-color:#e6e7f2\"><strong>Note<\/strong>: Disabling this option can be helpful when working with multiple monitors, to ensure that Cura Ultimaker will be correctly visible on reboot without having the second monitor connected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>camera rendering<\/strong>: Perspective and orthographic modes are available.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Open and save files<\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"724\" height=\"209\" src=\"https:\/\/impresion3d.website\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/abrir-y-guardar-archivos-Cura-ultimaker-impresion3d.website.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-355\" srcset=\"https:\/\/impresion3d.website\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/abrir-y-guardar-archivos-Cura-ultimaker-impresion3d.website.jpg 724w, https:\/\/impresion3d.website\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/abrir-y-guardar-archivos-Cura-ultimaker-impresion3d.website-600x173.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 724px) 100vw, 724px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Use a single instance of Cura<\/strong>: Forces the operating system to load all 3D models in the currently running Cura application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Scale large models<\/strong>: Automatically scales down models that are too large for the build plate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Scale too small models<\/strong>: Automatically scale models to a visible size, this can happen when models are scaled incorrectly (inches, millimeters).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Select models when opening<\/strong>: The 3D model is selected automatically when loaded on the board.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Add machine prefix to job name<\/strong>: a prefix with the initials of the printer that we have configured at that moment will be added automatically. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">For example<\/span>: <strong>CE3PRO<\/strong>_file_name.gcode<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Show a summary dialog when saving the project<\/strong>: Uncheck this option so you don&#039;t have to see the description every time you save the project.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Default behavior when opening a project file<\/strong>: with this option we can choose if we want to open a project (with all the settings saved) or if we only want to import the 3D model of that project without modifying our current settings.
