To change the size of the nozzle in Cura you must go to the top menu, where the type of filament you are using appears and Click. then it will open a new window<\/strong> with 2 options to choose material and Nozzle Size. By clicking on Nozzle Size you will be able to choose the size of the nozzle you are using.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For older versions of Cura you will need to go into your printer settings and manually change the size of your nozzle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Change the size of the nozzle in Cura<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The size of the nozzle is very important, this is used to calculate the width of fill lines and to calculate the number of wall lines as well as their thickness based on the provided parameters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It may happen that you changed the nozzle size of your printer, either out of necessity or to perform experiments, and then you ran into multiple errors for not having configured the new nozzle in Cura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the new versions of Cura it will be easy to do it, since only You must go to the top menu<\/strong>, where the type of filament you are using appears, and after clicking select the size of your new mouthpiece.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After making the change, a warning message may appear asking us if we want to save the changes or if we want to load the default values of the selected profile.<\/p>\n\n\n

In this case, surely you have made changes in the values of the profile that you were using and now basically Cura is asking you if you want to keep those changes<\/strong> or if you want to discard them so that load defaults<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the left of the image you have Settings that in my case I have modified and on the right the default and modified values. Now Cura is asking me if I want to keep them. In my particular case, if I want to keep them because they are useful to me, then I click on keep changes<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the changes do not work for you, you can click on discard changes<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From now on your new nozzle is set to Cura and you will be able to scroll through the print settings to see all the changes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Change the nozzle size in old versions of Cura<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In older versions of Cura users had to go into the printer settings and manually change the nozzle parameters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let's see a step by step for a version prior to 4.7<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First you must enter the printer configuration, in the upper left bar and click on the name of your printer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
